The ISS panelists will help
pull back the curtain on the process that ISS uses to develop new policies,
analyze key trends in compensation and governance as they see them for the 2014
proxy season and examine the recently released 2014 policy updates effective
for the upcoming proxy season.

John Roe, Executive Director, ISS Corporate Services
John Roe is the Head of Advisory and Client Services, and leads ISS Corporate Services’ team of governance and executive compensation experts, and has authored numerous papers and presentations on governance and compensation matters. Previously, John served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of an SEC-registered institutional investor and was a senior leader at the Corporate Executive Board. John also served on the White House Staff, was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, and served as a military officer. John holds an MBA from Rice University, where he graduated as a Jones Scholar, and a BS in Electrical Engineering.
Ben Magarik, Sustainability Practice Leader, ISS Corporate Service
Ben Magarik leads the corporate sustainability practice at MSCI, the leading provider of investment decision support tools to investors globally. Prior to joining MSCI, Ben was manager of client solutions at Opower, a smart grid and energy efficiency company. He was previously Associate Director of Digital Divide Data, an internationally acclaimed social enterprise. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Wesleyan University.

Cancellations: Since we must effectively manage our reservations and luncheon orders, please let us know by Friday, December 6th if your plans change and you need to cancel your reservation. If you cancel before December 6th, you will still be billed for the luncheon, but we will credit you for a future luncheon. No refunds will be made after you register and no credit for future luncheons will be given for no-shows or cancellations made on or after December 6th.
CLE: Application has been made to the Texas State Bar for one hour of CLE credit.
